That is why it is important to pay attention to how you sleep and try to establish a nocturnal process. Many people turn to drugs for help, but we would like to suggest another way to solve the problem.
That is, a foot massage to help you fall asleep quickly. We look forward to sharing with you several techniques that will take very little time but will pave the way for a good night’s sleep.
Reflexologist Michele Stevens explains how to self-massage in several steps. We have also added a few more techniques for you, which you can combine with Michele’s advice.
This 2 Minute Foot Massage Will Help You Sleep Better
It can start with the tip of the big toe. Massage the tip in a circular motion. Then lightly press and hold for a few seconds.
Now massage the big toe with your thumb. Start at the tip side and work your way up. Then go to the center and then to the other side of the toe. Repeat at least 3 times.
Massage the top of the foot. Move toward the toes, applying pressure to all sections of the pad of the foot. Repeat these actions several times.
Massage the middle of the foot. To do this, press your thumb on your foot from side to side in a circular motion. Repeat at least 3 times.
Massage the center of the foot with your thumb in a circular motion. Then press this point and hold it for a few seconds.
Gently pull on each toe. Start with the big toe and move to the smallest. Repeat several times. You can also massage between your toes.
You should find the highest point of the ankle on the inside of the leg. Count the width of 4 fingers from this point up. Now press behind the bone and massage in circular motions for 5 seconds. Pregnant women should avoid this pressure point.
You should lie on your back and bend your knees. Take your foot in your hand and bend your toes. There will be a depression on the sole of the foot. Apply pressure to this point and massage in circular motions. Repeat with the other foot.
