We have verified the causes and we want to share with you this useful knowledge that will change your life from now on. But remember that this article is for informational purposes only. Please consult your doctor before taking any action or treatment.

Acne around the mouth can occur if the skin in the area is irritated or frequently touched, such as a cell phone or other objects, such as headphone straps or musical instruments. Different cosmetics and facial products can also be the cause. Besides hormones and genetics.

First of all, if it appears frequently, consult a dermatologist who will find a suitable treatment for you. But in any case, it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Therefore, cleanse your skin with a mild or gentle cleanser twice a day as a routine. Wear makeup labeled “non-comedogenic” (will not clog pores) and oil-free products and avoid touching your face.

On the nose

Our nose is one of the most common areas on the face to develop acne. This is because the pores are usually larger, making it easier for dirt and bacteria to clog them. In addition, the skin here is also more oily and consequently more vulnerable to acne.

Nasal acne can be triggered by diet, stress, and certain medications. Sometimes it can be a sign of more serious underlying health problems. But the most common cause is poor hygiene.

That is why it is always good to add a little Tea Tree Oil to your routine, which is a very gentle and effective treatment against acne, or sodium sulfur sulfacetamide that will prevent bacteria from multiplying on the skin. In very severe cases, consult a dermatologist.

On the forehead

The significant factor here is the same: an increase in oil production in the skin. But sometimes, it is difficult to understand why this happens. Especially if you’re not taking certain medications, and they’re not hormones or stress. It is interesting to know that our hair can be the origin of acne on the forehead.

If your hair is oily, oil can get on your forehead and clog your pores. Different ointments, gels, and waxes can also be the cause, as these often contain cocoa butter or coconut oil and can make the skin feel oilier.

A mild cleanser can solve this problem. If that doesn’t help, try to avoid any oily hair products and just wash your hair more often.

Jaw and neck

If you think that acne, in general, can be hormonal, we have good news for you: not everything is like that. When certain hormone levels change, it can lead to an increase in androgens, the common contributing factor to adult acne. But there are some areas that are true indicators of hormonal fluctuations and they include the jawline and neck.

It is okay if fluctuations occur during menstrual cycles. It can also be caused by taking medications such as birth control. In severe cases, it can be a medical condition, but most of the time a non-comedogenic cleanser, moisturizer, and acne treatment can fix the problem. As well as basic sun safety and the proper use of sun protection.

On cheeks

Cheek acne is also a very common problem, especially now that we all have cell phones. Yes, not only touching your face, but even a simple phone conversation can cause some pimples to appear in that area.

Phones are great at spreading bacteria. As well as dirty pillowcases and sheets and other objects that come into contact with the skin.

Acne on the cheeks can be hormonal. But it is much more possible that this is being caused by certain lifestyle habits. This time, everything can be solved with a few simple changes.

How to clean your phone before each use and not take it to places with germs like the bathroom. Changing your pillowcases and sheets every week is also a good idea, as is washing your hands regularly.

On your back

Back acne can be a simple allergy to sunscreen, moisturizer, body creams, massage oils, and wax. It can also be caused by sweat, which mixes with the oil and toxins on our skin and clogs our pores. That’s why a quick shower after exercising is so important. And proper backwashing is a must.

Dirty clothes, blankets, and pillows can also become one of the main causes of back acne. Clothing that is too tight is also a bad idea. They do not allow your skin to breathe, which can cause irritation and, consequently, pimples on your back.

If there’s no obvious external cause, it’s best to pay attention to your diet and make sure you’re getting enough nutrients. Stress can be the cause here too.

What other methods do you use to prevent acne on your face and body? Have you managed to do it by changing only certain lifestyle habits?
