Our morning routine continues in almost exactly the same way for the vast majority of us. But few would have guessed that all you have to do is add a few simple yet highly effective activities, and the start of your day will be that much easier.
We picked five useful morning rituals that we hear about often but never try.
Morning Habits to Start the Day Right
Massage Your Ears
Massaging your ears can help you wake up fully. This can be done early in the morning, while you are still lying in bed.
Applying stimuli to the sensitive parts of the ear can have a positive effect on the energy and emotion that is felt.
Drink A Glass Of Warm Water With Lemon
There are many reasons why you should swap your coffee early in the morning for a glass of warm water. It will improve the functioning of the digestive system, kidneys, and intestines; can help flush toxins out of your body; can strengthen your immunity – the benefits are obvious.
However, it is not necessary to squeeze the juice of a whole lemon into a glass, a quarter is enough. If you decide to drink this, it is a good idea to wait 20 to 30 minutes before eating breakfast.
Clean Your Tongue
We all know that you should brush your teeth twice a day. But you shouldn’t stop there: a lot of bacteria also accumulate on your tongue, and this is what can cause bad breath and lead to dental plaque, cavities, and gum problems.
To clean your tongue, all you need is a normal toothbrush. Just be careful not to clean too hard, otherwise, you may damage the surface of the tongue.
Eat A Spoonful Of Honey
Honey fills you with energy, boosts memory and productivity, heals coughs, and relieves allergy symptoms. For these and other reasons, starting the day with a teaspoon of honey is definitely a good idea.
Ideally, it should be fresh and natural honey, and you should consume it 10 to 15 minutes before breakfast. If it is too sugary for you, you can dissolve it in a glass of water; the effect will be the same.
Wash Your Mouth Out With Hydrogen Peroxide Solution
You can end your morning routine by washing your mouth with a hydrogen peroxide solution. There is nothing dangerous about it, as long as you keep the correct ratio: 5-7 drops of a 3% solution per 50 ml of water.
Also, be sure to add the solution to the water and not the other way around. This procedure can help whiten your teeth, eliminate bad breath, and heal and protect your gums.
